hi. i been on paxil 4 days now at 20mg. anyway it takes away pretty much all my sex drive. but i also seem to not even care about say hugging someone. before i could imagine the girl i was planning to go live with, imagine snuggling with her and whatever else. now it's like i have no motivation for that. it just seems harder to feel any love for people.IS THIS COMMON with paxil??? is this what zombification is?? i dont want to be a zombie.
can someone tell me which medications allow them to still feel love and affection towards other people? it's like all my passion is gone. i have no passion left.
maybe i should stop this paxil and go back on risperdal.
what AP's allow you to still feel strong emotions for the people you care about? please let me know. The meds that have worked best for my severe dep and anxiety and mind torture have been AP's.

Paxil does have that effect in some people. Not all though. You might want to see if you can take Wellbutrin or some other med. Most SSRI's have similar effects on people. Paxil, Zoloft, Effexor, Prozac are all in that class
