Hi. Recently the combo of meds Im on (2.5mg of Klonopin a day, 1mg in the morn, .5 in the evening, 1mg at night), (20mg of Celexa for depression, daily), (and sometimes dexedrine to "pick me up")
I've noticed my anxiety is way down, and my depression is good, yet very unstable. I can easily turn into a crying, hopless case in seconds. There are certain triggers. Like, jelousy, or feeling "Out of the loop".
An example: I bar tend, recently there's been a new bar tender added, the owner wants down his pants, and he feels I'm competition since he sort of has a crush on me. So the owner of the bar has me doing s*!t work like working the door now, cleaning - basically anything to keep me distanced from the new bar tender. I used to be his number one man, like we were good buds (the owner and I)...free drinks, allowed free parties at his expense, etc... He's been really cold with me lately and, Once I hear something like that (that I'm being tossed by the wade side because the owner is a big sex-driven perv) I go into a deep depression. Other than that I usually am in a good mood.
Could I be bi-polar??

Heh, Carlos.
I am diagnosed Bipolar and I do think I AM Bipolar, but I also think the current DSM definitions will change as they always have, as we (hopefully) learn more about the diseases of the brain. So, what you and I are told today will be reevaluated soon.
You do not sound Bipolar to me. You sound, perhaps and imho, depressive and anxious. This is a "real" diagnosis and can be very difficult to treat. Depression + Anxiety/Agitation seems to be particularly painful because it means, basically, you feel horrific, but you also feel paniced and energized enough to potentially do yourself harm.
Does that sound familiar? I'm just garnering the info I recall from folks with similar symptoms who posted on this site.
Your meds sound pretty good to me, but they're obviously not doing the trick.
Stims can cause or exacerbate anxiety - have you noticed a trend with this in relation to when you take the Dex? Provigil gives me panic attacks, but Ritalin does not. (I take it to offset the side effects of Depakote).
Celexa shouldn't cause anxiety from what I've seen, and did not with me.
I know nothing about Klonipin doses - does that need to be increased?
Good luck!
