Has anyone on Dexedrine (or Adderall or Ritalin, for that matter) ever experienced food binges when coming down from the drugs?

Yes, of course, and it only stands to reason that Dexedrine suppresses that part of the brain (the appestat) which controls the appetite; ergo, you don't eat. This was the justification (and indication) for dispensing those now infamous "diet pills" of the '50s and '60s labeled as anorectics. However, when the drug wears off, the appestat kicks in and you eat like a mad person (which includes binging). This phenonmenon is the perfect example of the typical rebound effect.
