I'm taking Celexa, and it's causing tightness in my jaw. About a week ago, I added a smidge of Lamictal (only about 12.5mg/day), and it seems that the tightness is getting worse. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I got tension headaches/bruxism on Zoloft and also high dose Lamictal (maybe its the same phenomina).
Antidotes : mouth guard,Topamax,Buspar,Serzone,Klonopin
pinch of Topamax is very effective.

I've been grinding my teeth all my life, so it's hard to say with any degree of certainty...but I did not notice any increase in grinding when starting lamictal. I still take it. 200 mg 2x day.
Note on mouthguards - you can pick up a 'sports' guard at any pharmacy and see if it helps. It's cheaper than going to the dentist straight away.
Good Luck,
Morgana, BPII - Nardil and Lamictal

When I went up too fast on Lamictal, yes. Just fine, when I backed off and increased *much* more slowly.
