I would like to know if people taking Geodon have experienced increased dreaming in addition to an inability to stay asleep. I have very vivid dreams and wake up 2-3 times a night- I'm normally a very sound sleeper.
The good news is that a lot of the initial nervousness of Geodon has already worn off and I'm only in my second week- I guess the lesson is to give the side effects time to wear off.
Best wishes!

Glad to hear you are tolerating Geodon...
Vivid dreams are common with many psychotropic medications and nothing to worry about. But uninterrupted sleep is essential to your emotional wellness, and perhaps you may augment the Geodon with over-the-counter antihistamines such as doxylamine (Nytol) or diphenhydramine (Benadryl). There are no negative drug interactions between over-the-counter sedatives and Geodon.
This is the end of the thread.
