I have a moderate case of OCD (as well as GAD) and am wondering how well Effexor XR works on OCD? I have some opinions on this but would like to get other thoughts as well. I'm on 75 m./day right now and have been on Effexor for little over a week.

Effexor may not be a clomipramine when it comes to OCD, but it is a highly effective and tolerable medication that should not be overlooked by many sufferers.
"In the current report, with a 12-week open trial of venlafaxine, the overall improvement in OCD was significant (with greater or equal to 35% reduction in YBOCS and 1 or 2 on the CGI Scale) in 30% of patients."
