Why shouldn't i try with GHB?

Posted by blackrain on February 20, 2002, at 18:09:07

Hi to all,
the simply matter is that i'm totally unhappy.
I'm without desires, energies, completely bored.
I am at the opposite of an anxious person, but i would prefer have been anxious cause in that case there are hundred of meds to reduce anxiety.
But i do not know a single med that could enhance my desire of living.
i think i'm depressed in the real sense of the word.
I used 20 and more AD, Tca, SSRI, Benzo, but all failed cause they made me fall in a terrible aphaty, increased my weakness: everything seems to be in vain and i became more and more sad.
Now i would not to try again that AD i've used, but i think that Ghb could alleviate my terrible disease.
Why shouln't i do that?
Gimme an clear reason, if you could.
Do not say to me that it could be sometimes dangerous for my life: my life in endangered twenty times a day, since i am in this depressive status, couse sometimes i wanna die.
Thanks very much indeed for your share!

How about this reason? GHB is a class one controlled substance...in other words if you get caught with it you might go to jail. That would make me more depressed. Also, chronic GHB usage typically leads to paranoia and psychotic symptoms. Thus you could end up with a nasty case of drug induced psychotic depression PLUS possibly end up in jail.

Chronic GHB use causes paranoia and I dont know about you but to me paranoia is the worst feeling, way worse than severe depression.

I like to be on the middle of the teeter tauter on ghb. im very very knowledgeable, an addict for years, was arrested, has be to hell and back with this stuff.
Ok the bad. Once your addicted, look out for dopamine rebound pyscosic depression. Be there, locked up for 3 days with it. Dont quote me but the feeling i felt was like being in the trade center, i felt like i was dying a slow death.
But not i was up to 30 g of g a day.

Yes illegal. easy to hide, yes, hard to test for yes, fun to party with yes, too many goodies to answer.

Mix with alcohol, pass out hosptial cathiter, or even worse.

Quickest mood brightener and anxiety lifter. yes.

fast acting, and effects wear off in 1 hour so you need to constant dose, which makes it possible to overdose, for me about 1000 times i gd out. always woke up though, thank god.

if you gonna use, dont do 24/7. i hardly had probelms with it if i used it say 4 hrs after work, or at night instead of drinking. but with my backround of panic, axiety depression, alcohol, i became full blown.

i call it the most evil/wonderful substance in a liquid. Sorta like alcohol, but MARVOULOUSLY BETTER> SIGH

or DRJECKLY MR HIDE DRUG>

use g with caution, dont let it use u. its used me and now im fighting several personal and finatial battles over just a 2 yr deal.!

Hi Black Rain,

Have you tried dopaminergic drugs at all?
What about stimulants or atypical stimulants such as Adafrinil? Ther's a drug called Merinol which is the equivalent of marijuana.
I think ghb would be the last resort, just in case you really have tried everything's possible.
They use ghb for alcholics in my country. I guess both dosage and use are carefully monitored though.
You might want to take a look at this:
