Is anyone else taking Clonazepam? If so, what does it do for you?

There was recently a whole thread on this. I'm computer illiterate or I would post a link for you, but check the January 3, 2002 archive above.

Dinah,
I've been reading the posts on Psycho Babble for a while now
and I've never once read anything about Clonazepam. I must
be blind or something!Thanks,
MaKi

and I've been taking it since I was 18 Maki. I am now 32 just so you know.
It basically takes the edge off my anxiety. I started taking it for severe panic attacks and it was a life saver. I take it every day when I need to and just once in a while when I'm doing well. I haven't had any addiction problems or withdrawal symptoms since I keep the dosage as low as I can. When I feel especially anxious, I put one under my tongue(melts faster) and it takes the edginess away. It even works when I feel excessively angry or irritated.
I hope some of this is what you wanted to know.
take care
Tina

I have been taking Klonopin upto 6 mg
to treat a facial neuralgia (tension headaches,
jaw tension, weird pains in head). I recently found
that Topamax, an anti-convulant (anti-epileptic),
also alleviates my pain syndrome so I am currently
detoxifying myself from Klonopin.Regards,
