Hi AndrewB, JohnL and everybody,
I know you're very experienced about amisulpride.
I need a counseil:
Do you think, in your experience, comparing right and side effects, that is better to have amisulpride 50mg once or 25mg twice a day?
Any experience about the dosage of amisulpride?
Thanks for your share and help!
Bye

I always thought the recommended dose was 50-100 mg for dysthymia. I took 100 mg per day in one dose in the morning and had no side-effects.

> ByeHi Vincent,
You could experiment to see which method of dosing you like better. Or maybe it won't matter. I don't think it will make a whole lot of difference, but you never know.
I'm taking 33mg once daily (200mg tab broken in six pieces). I have to do a strange schedule though. I take it for three days, then stop for two, then start again. I find that the good effects continue for at least two days after I stop it. The reason I take these little holidays is because I begin to experience sexual difficulties beginning about day 4. A two day holiday after three days of dosing seems to work well for me.
The coolest thing about Amisulpride, for me anyway, is that it works within 24 hours of dosing. No six week wait with this stuff. Amisulpride is great. I also take Prozac day and Zyprexa night. They do ok for me, but it is the Amisulpride that makes the biggest difference in my mood and behavior.
Take care,
John

John, I heard about Provigil being used for narcolepsy & in checking up on it found out about adrafinil. Adrafinil searching is what originally led me to Psycho-Babble & your posts on it.
I find it to be my "wonder" drug & can't say enough good about it. I'm curious if you're still taking it and/or your experiences with it. I'd like to talk to someone else who's been on it long-term. Thanks.
This is the end of the thread.
