GHB, or gamma hydroxbutrate, is a metabloite, invented in europe by Dr. Henry Laborit, who was trying to get GABA to enter/cross theblood brain barrier. It was used over there for depression, anxiety, alcoholism, narcolepsy.
in 1990 FDA asssholes banned ghb due to oversealous persons abusing it, and so called thenew date rape drug, which is a buncha bullshit.

Hi,
interesting argument!
Ghb seem to be illegal only cause provide effects that all other Ad and Benzos provide!
This make me think that there would be commercial reasons!
It seems to work well, but i've not understand yet if it has curative effect or only activating effect (just like benzos).
Is anybody experienced about it?

There are commercial reasons regarding its banning...for more info, read my post up a ways on the board, Any drugs like GHB...my 2nd response is the one you're looking for I believe

Yes, im very up to date on ghb. A close friend of mine who is a former ghb addict and doctor, has researched ghb and is to come out with a book on such.
First and formost, ghb could kill, is addictive, can be used in rapes. BUT dont believe all the stuff you read about it. IT DOES have medical uses, primarily narcolepsy.
I have a 500 page book on ghb, everything from proper dosage, to pharmocology, to pro effects, and negative effects.
As like extacy, but totally different in several means, its illegal, abused, and has moved into the club scene. Although GHB, is going to be a perscribed drug as of 2002. Extacy is currenlty being used in clinical test trials.
The media has trashed ghb. All the media puts is DATE RAPE AND COMA/DEATH, most due to overdosing, sexual predators, and mixing with alcohol or other agents.
These is both good and bad about this drug. I call it the DR. Jeckle and Mr Hide drug. Its soo good yet so evil.post if you have any questions.
