About four months ago, I began taking 450mg of Effexor ER and 50mg of seroquel daily. Six weeks ago, I began the process of eliminating both drugs and have just finished up today. Recently, however, I've begun to experience extreme itchiness, especially on both hands. Lacking any other explanation, I suspect that the condition may be a withdrawal symptom. Has anyone else experienced this with eithr or both of these drugs and if so, how long did it persist? Were you able to find relief from anything?

yes I have this occasionally , I am on 375 of effexor. after almost 2 years on 150 mg (Ithink)I experienced extreme itchiness on my hands and feet when the dose was being increased. It went away after a week or so and when I would increase the dose again I would experience the same, however after 5 weeks on a certain dose I have not yet experienced this itchiness. Im am not sure what this is I thought it was reaction to the effexor afterspeaking to someone else here and their experience. I would go a little crazy, I couldnt sleep at all, I would jump in the bath and that would usually make me feel a little better. I think it should go away though, but while its there it is very annoying, luck though. :)
