Besides depression I have constant pain and my doctor has given me Remeron before bedtime hoping this may help. Is it okay to take this med while on Celexa??

That is my cocktail- 40 mg. Celexa, 15 mg. Remeron, both at bedtime. I've been on it since February with no adverse effects. One warning, which has been repeated here many times- the first time you take Remeron, don't plan anything too heavy the next day! Remeron is EXTREMELY sedating the first time; I remember taking it at 11:00 p.m. and sleeping until noon the following day (and I'm a bad insomniac). That effect lessened after a few days, but forewarned is forearmed.
