Sal,
Thanks for the link and I'll read it more carefully when I have time. Out of desperation, I tried it yesterday not expecting anything and it worked instantenously. I was more motivated and concentrated better and the quality of my sleep was the best it has been. This was on one 125mg pill.
As far as I can tell, there no negative interactions with my other meds, adderall and remeron. But of course, I could be wrong.
I intend to be very careful and stay on the one capsule for a few weeks before considering a dosage increase. I am very sensitive to meds and don't want to get carried away. Also, one day isn't alot of data to go on but after only taking SSRI's like Celexa once and feeling like I was going to die from a panic attack, I was quite happy with what occurred.
Of course, telling my psychiatrist is another matter but I think even though he may get angry initially because I never do anything he suggests and with good reason, he will at least let me do something if it works.

Hey Sal.Do you think maybe my Effexor w/d was so [relatively] easy cuz I started on St John's Wort within a day of quitting Effexor ? And now I'm weening off my not-very-big-in-the-first-place dose of St John's Wort.
I'd love to tell someone why it wasn't miserable for me when I've heard such horrible stories...but I don't KNOW. :/
