I've tried to stop Effexor before and I did it cold turkey. It was a big mistake. I talked to my doctor and she has reduced me to 37.5mg from 75mg and I am hoping that it will reduce the side effects. when I quit cold turkey I thought my body was going to quit on itself it was so bad. Has any one had success stopping effexor? Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
