Can people talk about their experiences with this combination Wellbutrin/Prozac. I'm adding Wellbutrin half of 75mg to Prozac 10mg--I'm having side effects with the Prozac (lack of concentration/focus/headaches/apathy). Any stories/advice/info would be great!
Thanks!

Hi, I have been on Prozac for a numbr of years alone and it worked well for me, then about a year ago Wellbutrin was added along with Depakote. I must say that with both antidepressants together it increased my energy level and concentration for a good number of months. I don't have side effects from the prozac, and hardly had any with the Wellbutrin except for dry mouth for a while and not really being hungry. However, In my experience I had to stop taking the two together because I began having severe anxiety and panic attacks which I had never had before. My pdoc felt that it was from the combination and took me off of the wellbutrin. Good Luck! Angie

My experience was REAL BAD with this combo.. Severe agitation.. Tried to commit suicide on this combo only days after beginning it.. Happened over 5 years ago now, but I have never felt so bad in my life. Judging from other posts my experiences were unique.

Not at all. I suffered that combo all of five days after dropping it for feeling so hopeless and crying.
I'm finding the same thing happens when I combine WB and Celexa, unfortunately. WB had a completely different effect when combined with Serzone.
