First of all I would like to thank SLS for providing a reference to the article that highlighted the problems that I was having with this benzodiazepine drug earlier in this current period.
I was also wondering whether this drug comes in two forms-as a generic as well as a brand and what is the name for the generic form and brand form of the drug.
Someone told me that Klonopin was the brand name for the drug and the most popular with people because it was more effective and that Clonazepam was the name for the generic form of the drug.
Is this true

It's true regarding the naming. I've not really noticed any difference between the two. I in fact prefer the generic since the tablets are scored an can be more easily split. My rx is for 1mg tabs, but I often only need .5.
