You mentioned in your talk that those with refractory depression usually end up taking MAOIs, then you mentioned that MAOIs are not suitable for some patients. Can you elaborate on how they might be unsuitable and (perhaps I missed it) what other drugs you might try if MAOIs aren't a viable solution?

Keep in mind that Marplan (now on the market), Selegiline, and Moclobemide are part of the MAOI clan. Some people don't know that these are there for them if they cannot tolerate the more well-known Nardil or Parnate.
