Coming off Zoloft

Posted by KARAsweet on March 19, 2001, at 13:32:36

I have slowly been winding down off my Zoloft dosage from 150 to 100 for a week, 50 the next week, then 50 for every other day.. as this process has happened, I've noticed a feeling of dizziness and as though I'm about to faint every so often. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes that is common. Should go away in 2-3 weeks after discontinuing. If you are planning to take another SSRI like paxil, celexa, etc.. that get rid of it quickly too.

thanks for your insight, that would explain these weird spells.. I was beginning to worry for a while, but it makes sense now. :)
