Hi
I have been on Celexa (40mg) for about a year and felt it was doing its job. However, recently I became extremely depressed and suicidal. The doctor did not feel it neccesary to change the Celexa (thats ok with me) but did prescribe Sonata (20mg) to help with the insomnia. The doctor also prescribed Seroquel (25mg)- the doctor said that though it is an anti-psychotic that it could help alleviate the suicidal/self-harm thoughts.
Does anyone have any knowledge, input, or opinions about this combination of medications?
