Been on 30mg of Celexa for 8 weeks now...and 35mg for another week...it's helping but I recently started this tightness and/or burning sensation in my chest...this morning I actually felt nausea for the first time...I'm going up to 40mg today, but this is very frustrating and I almost missed work today for the first time since I've been on it...was on 30mg of Paxil and did great except for the weight gain...anyone one have similar a Celexa expierience or have any thoughts as to what is going on????

Hi Mr. Mike,
I've been on 40 mgs. Celexa for several months now, but haven't suffered your symptoms.
It sounds like heartburn though. Maybe your stomach is having a hard time handling the higher doses? I would ask the pharmacist, sometimes they have a little more info then the Doctors. Good luck! CarolAnn
