Anyone heard of or used this? I understand that it is a form of liquified oxygen that is dropped (20-30 drops per day) into a glass of water (or other appropriate beverage) and is supposed to deliver extra oxygen to the body. I've read some tesimonials that claim a number of different ailments being helped, the most frequent one being fatigue. There was even a couple of people who said it helped with their depression. I'm extremely skeptical here, but who knows? I have the manufacturers website address if anyone is interested in reading about it....

Liquid oxygen?
Isn't that a component of rocket fuel?
I doubt very much the FDA would permit John Q. Public to have access to this substance.
No offense, but this idea is zany (at best), and dangerous (to boot).
But I'm no expert in these matters, and it wouldn't surprise me if this were true given
today's culturally diverse habits.
The thrill of it all, ho hum.
What is the website's addy ... sock-it-to-me!

kazoo,
Here is the company's URL, you'll need to navigate around the site a bit to find specific info about it.
http://www.rgarden.com/vitamino2oz.html
Then, after doing a little further research, as i've learned to do since coming to Babble, I found this URL which disputes it's usefulness completely.

Did kinda sound to good to be true, that's why I said I was skeptical. If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably not true. My Grandmother taught me that.... everyone should listen to their Grandmothers.

> GregHi Greg,
I read, sometime in the past year or so, about "Oxygen Bars" that people go to to ingest pure oxygen, the old-fashioned way, by inhaling it! It is supposed to be refreshing and invigorating-much better than the evening cocktail that many people drink before heading home from work. The customers actually sat at a bar and had their own little tank of oxygen. They were (supposedly) paying big bucks for this so-called 'refreshment'! I think it was in LA, not sure though...Zannah
