I started Celexa 20mg at night 3 weeks ago. I got off of the Anafranil which was making me much too Zombie-like. Anyway the Celexa has an uncanny effect to guarantee a long detailed dream...I'm talking every damn night. Some dreams are weirder than others, and not at all enjoyable...The problem is this..I feel like I spent the frickin night watching a full-lenghth movie...and feel totally unrested when I wake up.
Does this shit go away>>???SOMEONE??? ANYONE????

Oh yes. Dreams in 3-D- Dolby Stereo- Stadium seating. Do you yell at the people in your dreams. My husband says I am talking alot of the night. A regular jabberjaws. He is enjoying it less and less. I am glad he can take a joke! I sleep so deeply that I am clueless. Like all the other side effects of this "miracle" drug, I think this will diminish in time. Before the divorce is inevitable!! LOL!!!

I had vivid, intense dreams when I started another SSRI, Paxil, and found that cutting the dose in half for a while; even though I was at the minimum dose, helped me adjust to it. With me, the dreams became less intense over time.
Good luck!
