Does anyone have any cures for sexual dysfunction? I heard Gingko Biloba helps?

My sis uses Bus Par in conjunction and it seems to have solved that problem...

Marie,
I haven't heard of any sure-fire remedies. But there are a lot of possibilites that have about a 50/50 chance of working, varying from person to person.
In women Buspar is often helpful. The most common add-on though is Wellbutrin. 5mg or 10mg Ritalin as-needed an hour or two before anticipated sex can really help light the fireworks in bed. While Buspar or Wellbutrin are longer-term remedies, Ritalin is short term as-needed. It's very cheap too. For me I found it the most robust of all for sexual desire and intensity.
In the natural arena there are many things to try. There are herbal formulas that contain a variety of supposedly aphrodisiac ingredients like Muira Puama, Damiana, Tribulus, Avena Sativa, Ginkgo, Yohimbe, Ginsengs, and more. The amino acid supplements L-Argrinine too. You might browse the health food store selections to see what they have in the way of these formulas. Sometimes they really work. Sometimes not. Same with prescrips.
I tried the Ginkgo remedy for about 6 weeks at 240mg/day and found it to be of no benefit. But there is some evidence suggesting it can be beneficial for SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction. Of the natural ingredients, I personally found a ginseng formula (3 different gingsengs in it) and damiana and l-arginine to make a difference. Nothing earth shattering though.
Based on my own observations, in your shoes I would start with Ritalin as-needed. The doc shouldn't have a problem with that as long as he knows it is for a specific as-needed basis and doses/quantities are small. If you find it not helpful, there is no shortage of other things to try.
PS...you may find the depression improves as well with either Ritalin, Wellbutrin, or Buspar. Ritalin is the simplest fastest thing to try. No long trial needed for that one. The others might take a week to four to see if there's any improvement.

Don't take drugs! It's as simple as that. I too suffer from sexual dysfunction related to antidepressant usage and I have been off the drugs for over two years! I learned the hard way. Please heed this warning.
If you suffer from drugs email me and I'll tell you what can be done.
