Any positive exeriences with Celexa/Wellbuterin?

Posted by Saka on February 23, 2000, at 17:36:45

I am currently on 100mgs ofWellbuterin 100mg in am and
100mg in pm. It has not done much of anything. I'm starting
the Celexa mainly for Anxiety (20mg qday) starting at 10mg the 1st week.
I am so afraid of another weight gain experience. I gained weight
on paxil. I'm going to stay on the Wellbuterin hopefully to offset this.
I am more of a lurker, but this site has been wonderful and very informative.
Any feedback on this combo would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Saka

I tried Welbutrin once. It completely eliminated my cravings for cigarettes and was good for controlling food too....but I started having seizures so I had to stop taking it. I wish I could take it! I don't know anything about combing it with Celexa, but I thought I would share my experience.

I've been taking 150 mg. Wellbutrin SR a.m., 10 mg Celexa a.m. and 10 mg p.m., along with 60 mg Armour Thyroid (contains T3 as well as T4 which the synthetics don't) a.m. and 60 mg. p.m. and finally feel stabilized.

Only have to reach for the clorazapate rarely now - was taking 7.5 mg twice a day prior to adding the Celexa and Armour Thyroid to the Wellbutrin.

Hope this helps,
Don
