Is pindolol ever used in conjunction with effexor - in an attempt to enhance the effexor?
If so, has anyone had any luck with it?

I don't think the combination has been studied systematically, but for many people, pindolol causes SSRIs (Prozac, Zoloft, etc.) to start working faster than they otherwise would -- within a week or so instead of a month. In theory it should work similarly with Effexor.

Whether or not Pindolol works as a potentiator for Effexor, if you have anxiety it can independently provide a gentle but pleasant calming effect.
