Hi,
I've just started taking Buspar (30mg/day) to augment SJW (1500mg/day). Anybody find the addition of Buspar to SJW, or any other AD for that matter, helpful? If so, in what ways?
From what I've read, Buspar doesn't seem to help many people, but I thought I'd ask anyway...anita

Eventually the highest dose was reached. When that pooped out the drug was discontinued. I've heard that story several times. Trying to find someone being maintained longterm with buspar is hard.
Trying it with sjw sounds interesting. I would be interested to see how things go. Please keep us informed.

I've been on BuSpar as and adjunct to Prozac for nine months. I was jumping out of my skin from the prozac (though it was doing wonders for the depression) before I took the BuSpar. It tames the prozac. I must say my P doc was skeptical when I asked for it and told me I was his first success with it. But it's real mild and nonaddictive. You should push the dose to 45 or 60 to see if you get some benefit from it and don't expect anything for at least two weeks.
