Has anyone used these meds together? I have used these seperately and they didn't help with depression. I have read of people using them together, but I am wondering if anyone has knowledge of the use of these meds together and at what doseages.
Also how long does Klonopin last in the body?Any information will be greatly appreciated.

happy new year. Klonopin lasts 18 hours in the system and wellbutrin and effexor and/or others are being used. Here is a website with lots of info.

Robin, I haven't actually used these drugs together, but in discussing treatment options, a Psychiatrist told me that Wellbutrin SR and Prozac have been found to be very effective together, so the combination is pretty commonly prescribed. As far as adding the Klonopin, I have been on that at the same time as Effexor and Prozac together and there was no problem. So, it would probably be just a matter of your trying it and seeing what kind of effect it has. Best wishes for the New Year!CarolAnn

Robin a poster named Rick has experience with Klonopin. I am very sensitive meds and I started with .125mg or 1/8th of a .5mg tablet and went up to .25mg 2 x per day. Apparently a maintenance dosage for social phobia would be 1 - 2mgs per day but some people do well on less. I found it made me very drowsy and clumsy and dullbrained. Can't work and take it. Will try Ativan instead. Good Luck

I was on klonopin for over a year (along with the drugs you mentioned and more). I started at 2mgs/day and ended at 6mgs/day. I have a high tolerance for benzos; is the klonopin for anxiety or panic disorder?

I take Klonopin for anxiety. When you were taking Prozac and Wellbutrin , what doseages did you take?I am mixing these drugs together without a doctors approval. I feel they are helping me after 2 weeks. Finally I think I have found a combination that works!

I hope you have no hints of bipolar disorder, I got extremely manic (despite a mood stabilizer) on that combination. Klonopin is great for anxiety- in some people prozac is pretty energizing. I'm really glad you're feeling better.
