Pdoc recommendations in Boston--bipolar specialist

Posted by Abby on May 31, 2005, at 23:11:25

I thought that I already posted this, but it's not showing up.

Can anyone recommend a good psychopharmacologist in Bostom and therapists too?

The employer has a weird HMO which it operates. So I know there will be strange referral issues. There's a weird preferred provider list with phcs or something.

Anyway, I'd love to chat offline too.

This is a list of pdocs from Ivan Goldberg's Depression Central website. I'm not sure how current it is but these docs are listed as the best at treating mood disorders in the Boston area.

Thanks Phil,

McLean is on the list for inpatient care, but I don't think that the good folks at the MGH clinic are covered. I hate mental health being treated differently.

There was a guy back in the day who was in a trial at McLean, and I wanted to ask if somebody could ask their psychiatrist if they had treated patients who were on the HUGH plan.
