Here's another topic to talk about.

I've started a blog. No one knows about it... none of my friends, not my family, not my boyfriend. I'm afraid to tell them because I'm afraid they'll read it and find out something about me (or themselves) that I don't want them to know.

But I'll tell you where it is...

Hi, PG,
Blogs are cool! When I could afford to have one, it was called 'Snookie Goes A'Bloggin' and I just wrote and wrote.

I think they are a great outlet, so long as one makes sure that mom, dad, sis, etc. don't catch on!

Mom's dead. Dad is computer illiterate, half-sis is 5 years old, and my aspie SO will never be told about it.

I went over there and viewed your blog, and responded to your frog eggs post, but it was over 300 characters, and then there was an internal server error...etc.

BUT, what I was going to say was I'm currently re-reading Jurassic Park, and I love the part where they use frog DNA to replace the missing bits they have, and...well, then ya got chaos theory! I love chaos theory! A butterfly flaps its wings....and all that.

I'm sure you're familiar with it, at least the frog DNA part.

Very cool, little missy!

I visited the future frogs Thursday. They have turned into little black sperm-shaped things still inside those clear, smooshy eggs. I tried moving some of the clumps, as they had floated into the drainage area, and some floated free and swam away. I can't wait to see them all hatch and liven up the pond.

Meantime, there were some domestic-gone-wild geese that built a nest and laid about 20 eggs in a flower bed that I planted last year at the family business. While I was visiting my sweetie and the future frogs, he let someone take the eggs away and didn't tell me. When I told him that the eggs were gone today, he pretended that he didn't know what happened to them. Then he fessed up that he let a customer take them. I am pretty angry right now. It's not so much that he did it (well, it IS, because they weren't hurting anything and he has minuscule regard for nature and animals) but I'm ESPECIALLY angry that he lied to me and had such little respect for me and went behind my back because he knew that I wanted to let the eggs hatch.

I'm not sure what to do. My current fantasy: I want to lie to him about all sorts of things and spend all of the money in the company savings account without telling him.

A,
I totally do NOT recommend you spend all the savings. However, if you are one of us, you would not anyway.

Sorry, you and your dad have such diverse opinions about eggs of all sorts. Maybe, it's time for a sit-down talk, if that is at all possible. To clarify who is doing what where, etc.

I work for my sister, so I totally (or at least partially) understand the family biz dynamic.

Good luck!!
