..to fill another scrip for Ativan. The girl at the counter looked at the paper and made a cheerfully ignorant comment that it had been a popular drug that day, but that they still had some left. (Luckily no one was around. I was pissed.)
But then walking away to wander the store I started thinking about all of the other people with Ativan scrips and realized that in some perverted way I am not alone.

They should really keep their mouths shut, you know?
I had to buy some Ex-Lax (wasn't for me : )) at the grocery store and the clerk said, "Here, I'll put your 'medicine' in a bag."
She's on my all-pro checker team.

Hah! I just picked up my lorazepam scrip, too!
You know, the clerk behind the counter may not even necessarily know what kind of drug it is....

I remember getting my meds refilled many years ago at an Air Force hospital in Turkey. I was chatting with a young tech while waiting for my script. When he saw what I was taking, he said, "Your taking two antidepressants? But you don't seem depressed!"
I thought it was unprofessional but funny. I'd been on these meds for months, I hope I didn't still seem depressed.
