Just a quickie as I must get sleep..
Just got home from camping out in below freezing temperatures on one of the main shopping streets in London for the opening of the new Apple Store!!
It was awesome.. 6500 people in the queue by the 10am opening time (I started at 5pm after work yesterday, Julian at 7am!).. Julian was 5th in line and the first European (the others were Americans that had flown over for it!), I was in random kind of line places in the top 20ish, and entered the store 11th I think.. We were greeted by all 189 staff high fiving us and cheering us and stuff.. it was simply amazing.. though very very surreal after a night in those temperatures, not enough to eat and no sleep!!!
I wanted to do one mad thing before turning 30, and I think I might have just suceeded!!!

I'm smiling--It must have been quite a scene, indeed! Did you say six thousand five hundred people? Did you say that J was there from 7 am the previous day?? And you from 5pm the previous evening?? WOW.
Enjoy the pink mini ipod!
