t for termination. I plan on calling my ex-pdoc and saying good-bye and thanking him for his past help (obviously i'm doing a LOT better). i also have an appt with my therp (we're trying again, post car accident). she'll help, she always has a good perspective. she gave me the name of a pdoc who supposedly is a bipolar expert, I got insurance approval and called and left a message and his secretary called back to say his practice is full. so I'm convinced a shrink is not in my future. I feel really strongly about that, even though my spouse and therp are very much against it. honestly, I can't go through feeling like i did last week ever again. i really, really know that.
take care all- judy

my therp has been a big help, I just realized I've been 3+ years with her. had a bit of a manic jump but took depakote after some major pushing by my husband. today we (therp and I) discussed how I only 'feel' when I'm manic or depressed, I am completely zoned otherwise. perhaps that's part of the appeal of mania. how are you doing?
take care, judy
