Why you can't leave us!!!

Posted by Greg on July 8, 2003, at 18:23:48

Racer,

While my memory may have taken a beating over the last few years, I remember with crystal clarity that you owe me a lunch date! I insist on collecting on these types of things my dear. So let's make plans to have lunch, talk awhile, enjoy our meal. I won't ask you for anything beyond that point. And I can promise you that we won't talk about anything that you don't want to talk about, I won't pass judgements, I'll just try to be a good friend. Maybe after we eat, we could find a park nearby (there lots of those) and just sit and talk, you could let me know what you're feeling inside. Trust me, there's few feelings better than to explain feeling of depression and suicide to someone who really, really understands what you're going thru, AND won't judge you for it.

I'm offering my friendship to you, it's all I have that may be worth something. But know that you don't have to be alone sweetie. People are reaching out here, and I'm in the enviable position of being able to reach out in person.

This is my offer to you. I still very selfishly don't want to lose you.

My email is gbwhite at comcast dot net.

Please think it over. If you don't contact me I won't get my feelings hurt or be angry. I understand what you're feeling all too well. But I hope you do drop me a line. There's always tomorrow, or the next day, or next week to go thru with your plans. Let's see if we can't come up with some alternatives. Whattya say? Please?

Sending you a hug,
Greg

Above for Racer...DUH! (nm)

Dear Greg, I don't know that I'm feeling up to leaving the house, or eating, but otherwise I'd be glad of that lunch date. Let's say I still owe you, and therefore have a debt to pay. I don't know if it will keep me around, but since I don't seem to have the courage to do anything else, maybe that can be the resaon.

Thank you, for all the years of kindness

Dearest Racer, I totally understand how feel and it's alright that you don't feel up to this. And if feeling like you owe me a debt will keep you with us for awhile, then I can live with that too. Just remember that the offer always stands, so if you ever feel the need to talk face to face to someone who really understands what you're dealing with, I'm your guy. But no pressure, do it when and if you feel like you can handle it.

My love and thoughts are with you,
Greg

gbwhite at comcast dot net

I sent you an email at that address and it came back undeliverable (yes, I changed the 'at' and 'dot' to the correct format). I also tried the two addresses I had for you previously and neither worked!! I am worried about Racer.

Greg--the error message says this:

gateway-r.comcast.net:wsi.net.WsiSocketException: Bad Response to mail From: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (I changed the numbers to x's) blocked by blacklist.mail.ops.asp.att.net. -> Blocked for abuse.
Please send blacklist removal requests to blacklist_comcastnet@cable.comcast.com
- Be sure to include your mail server IP ADDRESS.
;ErrCode=1006

Is my address blocked? Was someone using my address for spam or something?

Noa, I certainly don't understand this. I've never blocked anyone for abuse. Could you try it again and if you get this notice I'll report it to Comcast.

In the meantime try:
