I just read Brio's rather nasty characterization of my life (perhaps a bit too real...) and decided that, while you can get irate, I've never known you to be what would seem to be plain old mean, so it's highly unlikely that you'd be Brio (as I wondered in my previous post).
My mistake.
Don't be a stranger.

I gotta say, I've been so confused lately. I don't know who is who. Scrolling to follow threads is hard, too, with all the cryptic messages. I've never been good at cryptogram crosswords, either.

I'm clueless with you Noa.. I have no idea who this Vrio is.. and I am utterly fed up wit guessing who these new ames are, and guessing all these hidden hints about things in posts...
Infact I am just utterly fucked off with the way PSB is going these days.. its all like some stupid little secret society that we're not part of..
I left school 13 years ago, so why does it feel like I'm back in the playground??

Is it just the f-word you object to Doc cuz there wasn't anything uncivil about Nikki's post that I could see. In fact, I'm not even offended by the use of the f-word. SOmetimes it's the only one that aptly fits a particular description of a situation. Dontcha think?
point taken though.
be well

thus far, it HAS taken an extra effort on my part to be civil in certain situations given my 'delicate condition.' As I said, it 'seemed' that somebody was being downright mean...meaning that while it seemed that way, there was room for doubt. I couldn't think of another reason anybody would say such things to me when I was admittedly very much in the abyss, yet I was reluctant to believe that anybody would just be mean. And, I don't like you telling me to be civil, when I HAVE made a major effort to stay out of the fray, and the few comments I made were, in my opinion, civil; much more civil than the shots I received before I commented, Bob.

I would have reacted much better to a 'please rephrase' in which I could have said something utterly content-free. Sorry that you saw my statement as warranting a civility demerit. I will just assume it is a great misunderstanding.

I have noticed that Doc Bob is given to misunderstanding. TOo bad really. If he gave things a little more time to work themselves out, we'd all be better off I think.
I'm sorry you were slighted by this Brio "person"(I use that term loosely) YOu never deserve that. You're one of the sweetest most supportive people I know.
hugs to you Shar

In Nikki's post, yes, it was just that word. But in general, I'd like posters not to use (or at least not to spell out completely) any obscene or vulgar words. What to consider obscene or vulgar I've been leaving up to the online Merriam-Webster Dictionary:
> In fact, I'm not even offended by the use of the f-word. SOmetimes it's the only one that aptly fits a particular description of a situation. Dontcha think?

I'm sorry you received those shots, and I appreciate the effort you made despite that. I'm sorry also about not thinking of the rephrase option. Think of it not as a demerit, but as a reminder?
