Dearest Shar,
Are you okay?
Call it an "instinct" . . . That's what polite society calls it, anyway... so I'm inquiring

I just left her a message so hopefully one of us will hear something. I certainly hope that things are still going good for her.
I should have asked her how she was instead I left my real estate message:
"Do you want to sell your home? Tired of all the hassles? Want to move out of Texas by August so your car tires won't melt on the road? Call Phil-scam-estate and we'll be happy to take your call. (800) nohouse.
For complaints call (800) nomoney. For all other inquiries, dial zero for purgatory."

Well, Coral,
Your 'instincts' are most excellent. I am wild with worry over money. However, after reading approximately a billion student essays about how being born again = no more money trouble (because you are now taken care of in all things) I'm calmer. Although, it does appear, according to some, that I might have to buy a lottery ticket. Then, of course, I would win because...I'm being taken care of.But, really, I am scrabbling for some sense of perspective about this money stuff. It is not easy to come by (perspective, that is). I simply do not not pay my bills; it just isn't done.
Plus, I have been having a lot of stuff to do after work, and this is an 8-5 job, and I'm getting home late-ish, which means a little time with my WP, and then to bed. Not enough time, I miss him during the day, and he talks too much for me to make a touch-base type phone call (but, otherwise, I love the way and amount he talks).
I miss the dogs, too. And the house. And time for the computer. Ssiigghhh. Well, I guess that might have been some of what you're picking up on...8-) Nice of you to notice, thank you. Most people never know when I'm not 100% (they just look shocked when they come upon me and I'm bawling). And you're not even in the same state! (By which I mean, of course, Texas; not state of being. But I assume your state of being is much better than mine...correct?)
Oh, well. Today's gem from the student essays:
"With enough hassling and urging from friends, someone can be persuaded to ride his bike as fast as he can into a bale of hay."
The writer apparently did this, and while lying on the floor of the barn cursing, found he didn't have imminent, life-threatening injuries.
God, I got a great laugh from that one.
And, thanks, Phil for the call. I appreciate it. Next time, leave your vinyl siding message, ok?
Love you all,
Shar

Dearest Shar,
"With enough hassling and urging from friends, someone can be persuaded to ride his bike as fast as he can into a bale of hay." LOLOLOLOL (I've done that without friends' hassling!)
You need to be aware (Not as in "wary"). Look up, not down. Following a bit of a crooked or twisted path, there's an important connection for you. The letter "S" (You know how these messages come so there's no need to explain.
