This is for Peter

Hi,

Your submission really touched me. If I could reach out to you through this very minimal medium I want to say that I would hug to so hard if I could. We are so goddamn alienated. How much pain and torment would be relieved if we had the number of requisite hugs per day. Our culture makes sure that we are alienated. I know, I am a struggling Buddhist, how difficult it is to attempt to make some sense of this suffering and pain without letting go - and god knows I have tried to let go - and how we all crave for that resurrection and deliverance from all this pain. I am sure it will sound trite but just know that my heart is sending out "good vibes" to you. Michele

Hi Michelle: Thanks for your follow-up- I'm touched. Yeah I practiced Buddhist Vipassana meditation for a couple of years and I thought it would help me maintain some sense of stability in the face of the depression. I found that the depression/fear of depression was a lot bigger than I had thought! So now I have turned to drugs and am still hoping... Anyway I wish you all the best in your own journey. Peace. Peter

hi,

i went to Buddhism/Zen to try to get a hold on
things but it just drove me deeper. My training
in Zen lasted about 10 yrs. the Zen was not
amateur but under very reputable training.
NO HELP.

so now it is Paxil by Day and Trazadone by Night
and it seems to be the only answer at the time.

have been on the above for about 5 mos. and find
the results to be startling.

i am 58 yrs old and feel I have awoken after 50
years in a FOG. (trust me, 50 yrs. is a long time.)
