Has anyone experienced severe bloating while taking 5htp? I don't know if it's the 5htp or falling off the Atkins diet wagon that's doing it for me.

It's probably falling off the Atkins diet wagon.
The people I know who lost weight on that diet
seemed to lose it very quickly, and gain it back
very quickly...probably b/c it's mostly water weight
lost.Is the 5htp still working for your depression?
(I'm still thinking of trying it)

Both SamE and 5HTP have been known to cause intestinal gas. Take a look at some message up above (I think the thread was started by me) with the words "intestinal gas." You can read about a couple of experiences. Racer offered a good work-around.
(I know that this site can be overwhelming, but there's a lot of good info. I learned about the bloating and gas here!)
