Hi there
I gave birth some time ago and had an unexpected convulsion at the time (I have never fitted before or since). I was taking Moclobemide (Aurorix/Manerix) at the time and the convulsion occurred immediately after pethidine hydrocloride was administered for labour pain. I have found one line in my region's drug reference journal to "pethidine being contraindicated while using aurorix", but can find no details *anywhere* on who or what side effects have been reported. Does anyone know whether this may have been the cause of my convulsion?
