>Luvox is very similar to Prozac. If one of these kids who was involved in
the Colorado shootings was on this then can we prognosticate that this could be a
contributing factor to his rage. I took Prozac for a while and had to stop taking it when
I felt the urge to kill someone. Maybe we should blame the pharmaceutical propagandists.

I have been on Luvox for almost 4 months and I havent experienced any wt gain, but I did notice a slight wt loss at the beginning b/c of the nausea, but I came right back to my normal wt. I started on 50 mg for 2 months then went up to 100 mg my wt came back to normal.

What I read was that in the Columbine school shooting, that kid went OFF his Luvox right before because off it he became more aggressive feeling. Evidently the Luvox gave him a calming feeling that inhibited aggression. But thats the norm with serotonergic antidepressants. Serotonin is considered to be the "civilizing neurotransmitter."
