I have that darned furniture disease.
My chest has dropped into my drawers.I have no choice. I am doomed to life with a bra (and underwire) to my death.

I've used mascara a couple of times...it doesn't work for me. My eyelashes are short and point downwards. Whenever I blink the upper eyelashes stick to the lower eyelashes when I wear mascara. Sometimes I end up with a dark shadow under my eye from the mascara.

Hi Deneb,
I hate wearing bras. Mine comes off the minute I get in the house. Right after I kick off my shoes.
As for periods, eventually they go away, but that means menopause. Which I am rapidly heading towards.
If you really want to stop your periods, go on Depo Provera- it's a contraception injection you get every three months. It stops your periods. At last a use for my once writing brochures in health care.

I do most of the time when I'm home. And I do it whenever I can outside the home too. (Usually in the cooler months, when I'm wearing heavier clothes.)

Start socking away some money and get a breast reduction surgery. I've inherited my mother's (and grandmother's) droopy chin/neck. If I were to ever consider "cosmetic" surgery, it would be for that! I so envy women with long, graceful necks.

The only thing about Depo, for me, was that I didn't want sex AT ALL. It was silly getting on birth control then not wanting sex ever, plus you gain so much weight, it wouldn't turn anyone on anyways!

I was only 13 when I went on the pill, and I wasn't sexually active. Its often prescribed for bad PMT or painful periods..
But.. do speak with your doc as it doesn't suit everyone, and it took me a few tries to find a pill that suited me..

I hate wearing bras too and I absolutely refused to wear them until I was 24 years old and had grown to a D cup. Then I started working in an office with men and I figured I had to dress 'appropriately'.
Nowadays I find that clothes don't fit properly unless I wear a bra, because women's clothes are designed for breasts that have support. My problem is that my breasts won't stop growing. My D-cup days are long behind me! (I have a secret fear that my breasts will never stop growing and someone is going to have to invent a Z-cup bra for me...)
But the worst thing is losing that natural bounce. Those steel-reinforced “hello boys” bras are fine for making clothes fit, but I hate it when I’m walking and my breasts don’t move at all. What’s that about? I have to look reasonably smart for work, so I settle for killer cleavage for eight hours and then take off the bra as soon as I get home.

I never wear them, I stopped in the 1970's.
just took it off and been bra-less since.

Hm.
Judicious choosing of tops could make it unnecessary to wear a bra if you're petit. I rarely wore a bra when I was younger but it was partly because of fashion, partly because I looked great that way.
But I like my breasts. I think they're nice.
As for periods, well, I have always liked having them, too - except when I had an IUD and it was so painful to menstruate. Strange, I know, and most women look at me as though I'd grown horns when I say that. But it's such a deeply feminine thing. Now that they've stopped, I feel kind of sad, I miss them.
We are very different, you and I, but I know there are women who are uncomfortable with their sexual bodies. The stickie-out bits like breasts, the bleeding, the expectations of those around us that we adorn ourselves and act appropriately.
I hope you are gentle with yourself about this, that you can find cool, comfortable undergarments, and that you find ways of coping with the monthly bleeding that make it less annoying. (About ten years ago, maybe a little longer, I had the brilliant idea of wearing black panties during my period to cut down on, um, leftover traces. It was a really good idea that I wish I'd had 20 years earlier!!)
As for growing up, doesn't it have a lot more to do with the mind than the body?

Is it true that one has to undergo an exam to get the Pill? If so, it's not worth it for me.
I wouldn't even let the nurse put those little electrode things on my chest to monitor my heart when I OD'd...I did it myself thank-you very much!

But there's no need for an internal exam. And even if your doctor suggests it you can refuse.

It's the Body by Victoria. I love it, it's the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. (I have a couple of them, but was able to get them at a good price because I know someone who can get the discount. They're pricy.) I can't wear it when I jog because it's not a support bra. Also, where some bras smoosh your breasts together, this one doesn't, they're separated. Probably more info than you ever wanted, but....... LOL you know!

When I went away to college many years ago, the only thing my mother made me promise was that I would continue to wear a bra. She literally begged me. My mother's a character. No lectures or advice about pregnancy or drugs - just bras. So I figured that was the least I could do for her. :-)
