I think I'll try one before going for a whole box. :)
With my luck, I'll be one of the few poor souls who doesn't have a taste for mangos.

They have a sweet, simple aroma, like a young girl who does not yet understand perfume. Their size is just large enough to grasp and fondle with one hand. Like all sweet arboreal confections, they must be bathed before they are tasted. They are covered with short, soft hair, making them warm to the touch much like the breast of a woman. Some prefer to eat them peeled, but they lack the sensual acuity and sophistication needed to truly understand them. When their flesh is tasted, the become fluid, soiling their partner with their sweetness. When they are consumed, you will find there are two types: those who boldly give up their flesh from the stone and those who coyly tease you to the last morsel. The stone, hard and deeply furrowed, bears no resemblence to the confection which surrounded it. Make no mistake, however: these are not exotic beauties, but simpletons who can be obtained easily. Nontheless, their beauty makes them desireable at all times.Ted

Hey Jane,

I think the ladies should handle the vegetables and the men should handle the fruit. Those produce items which are considered either both or neither (such as tomatoes) can be done first come, first described. How does that sound?

Not fair at all. Everyone must follow their natural proclivities, or whims of the moment. Plus, IMO, fruit is just intrinsically sexier than vegetables.

Hi Tabitha,

Obviously you have never seen a cucumber. :-)
Nor some varieties of mushroom (the specific name of many mushrooms is "phalloides" for a good reason!). :-)Ted

True, there are some awfully suggestive looking mushrooms. I think Tori Amos used them on an album cover once to good effect, but I might be mistaken.
I would argue that a cucumber is a fruit.
When you say vegetables, I think potato, turnip, rutabaga, you know, the tuber family. Dull as that short, pudgy, yet nice and dependable guy one feels guilty for not desiring.

In reply to Re: mango = Japanese for sex fruit ?, posted by Ted on July 17, 2002, at 16:04:25
I must correct that.. The Japanese word for mango which I don't know, offhand, apparently translates into English as Sex Fruit.
As for the reason it didn't writhe in esctasy didn't we already discuss your little approach problem.
Something Bohemian like 'Hell ah just take a big ol'bite'
Then again, after seeing some of the xxx sites those ones that seem okay but then a whole bunch of really gross (far to mild a word) windows open and refuse to close) Taken a big ol'bite might just cause someone out there to at writhe in ecstacy.Gabbi
