>>if jeroen feels comfortable with you posting personal information about him on this board?..

Since I couldn't find any place this happened, I'm going to ask you to please not exaggerate, and also not to post things that may lead others to feel accused.

And as a reminder, if you think there is a problem with a post and want Dr. Bob or the deputies to review it, please remember to use the 'Notify the administrators' button at the bottom of every posting window, instead of commenting on the boards.

If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please see the FAQ: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil

Follow-ups regarding these issues should be directed to Admin and should of course be civil. Dr. Bob has oversight over deputy decisions, and he may choose a different action.

Respectfully,
10derHeart, acting as deputy for Dr. Bob

> Dr. Bob has oversight over deputy decisions, and he may choose a different action.

You were asked just recently to be civil, so I'm going to block you from posting for a week.

But please don't take this personally, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person.

Bob

PS: According to the current system:

previous block: 1 week
period of time since previous block: 5 weeks
uncivil toward a particular individual or group: yes
particularly uncivil: no
different type of incivility: no
clearly didn't understand PBC and made effort to reply: no
provoked: no
uncivil in multiple posts at same time: no
already archived: no

If we take 5 weeks, divide by 10, and round, that's a reduction of 1 week. If we apply that to your previous block, that takes you back to 0. And if we go from there, that's 1 week.

As 10derHeart said, it might have led others (namely, Phillipa) to feel accused, and if there's a problem with a post, we ask that others use the 'Notify the administrators' button instead of commenting on the boards.

Thanks, and this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person, either.

If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please first see the FAQ:

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#enforce

Follow-ups regarding these issues, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.

Thanks,

Bob

PS: According to the current system:

previous block: 2 weeks
period of time since previous block: 124 weeks
uncivil toward a particular individual or group: no
particularly uncivil: no
different type of incivility: no
clearly didn't understand PBC and made effort to reply: no
provoked: no
uncivil in multiple posts at same time: no
already archived: no

If we take 124 weeks, divide by 10, and round, that's a reduction of 12 weeks. If we apply that to your previous block, that takes you back to 0. And if we go from there, that's 1 week.

This thread started on the main board and after Phillipa asked if Jeroen was doing OK with his meds
it was redirected here.

What, saying that you can over rule a deputy's decision could make people feel accused?

I don't see it.. Please explain again.

How can someone saying you can over rule a deputy make someone feel accused?

A dense Nikki

If you go to the main meds board, you'll see the re-direction there. There must have been five or six posts before it was all moved here to Admin.

I don't think you're dense. Dr. Bob quoting that particular part of 10derheart's post does make things confusing. If you look at the sequence of posts:

From 10derheart's post:
*>>if jeroen feels comfortable with you posting personal information about him on this board?..

> Follow-ups regarding these issues should be directed to Admin and should of course be civil. Dr. Bob has oversight over deputy decisions, and he may choose a different action.

Dr. Bob posted this, quoting the part of 10derheart's post that references his oversight, perhaps as an explanation for why he was also acting on this:
>> Dr. Bob has oversight over deputy decisions, and he may choose a different action.

> You were asked just recently to be civil, so I'm going to block you from posting for a week.

And then to answer your question, he posted this:
> As 10derHeart said, it might have led others (namely, Phillipa) to feel accused, and if there's a problem with a post, we ask that others use the 'Notify the administrators' button instead of commenting on the boards.

I think the "it" in this post refers to the part quoted in 10derheart's PBC post (see above *)

Definitely confusing, especially with all the intervening posts.

Hope this helps.

Do you see this at the top of the post:

[ reposted on January 20, 2007, at 14:25:46 ]

That tells you it was moved on that day/time, and then if you click on the word "reposted," that will take you back to the original location, in this case the meds (main) board.

I think that'll help :-)

Also if you scroll up the meds board you will catch a thread to Jeroen where he talks about how seroquel is the only med to help his geodon eye blinking. This issue with him and the blinking has been going on for over a year. He frequently mentions in that thread as well as others that seroquel is his med of choice hope that helps. Love Phillipa
