I'm not an expert, but I believe the anti-Christ is considered to be the embodiment of evil, and the opposite of truth. Some biblical interpretations say it will be a person, others say beast, who will appear near the end of time and convince people it is the actual Christ when it is the opposite, and spurred on by Satan.

Gabbix2,
You wrote,[...some say the antichrist will be a person ...some say a beast...appearing near the end of time...].
Are there any things that you know that preceed the advent of this person or beast?

Not that I know off hand Lou sorry, I'm afraid I've forgotten most of my Catholic School studies. I think it's in revelations though, in the bible

I do know you owe Angel Girl an apology though : )

I asked you to have that subject title removed. Simply putting an asterisk is not good enough for me. Do you honestly think that nobody knows what that word still is?

PLEASE REMOVE IT IN IT'S ENTIRITY!!!!

I'm sorry you felt offended, but please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down.

Nikki

Thank you for your support. Even if Lou does not understand how he has incredibly offended me, I have made that abundantly clear and have asked him to remove the word. Instead there is an asterisk to replace the first letter. Is that to lead others to not know what that word is? I think NOT!!! I can't tell you how much I am hurt. I went to sleep and when I woke up, this is the very first thought that came to my mind. I do not understand why Lou will not comply with my wishes. He gets very upset when he feels he is being offended, can he not understand when it happens to someone else. I feel he does not understand the level of my being upset although the use of capitals in my replies and the words I have used should've been sufficient. I have been in tears over this. If he wants others to understand his feelings of being offended, well, he must also understand others feelings also and when he continued with the suject of the thread, that upset and angered me all the more. I can not believe the level of insensitivity that has been shown towards me and yet he still doesn't 'get it'.

> Lou - I noticed that you used "beachrstntose" as shorthand. That has 13 letters. "antichristian" also has 13 letters so it could have easly been used instead of "antichrist". It fits right into your standards. I agree with those who say you owe an apology. I'm sure it was not intentional, but you obviously hit upon a sensitive issue.
>

emmy

Thank you for your support but putting the word anti-Christian beside my name would also have upset me because it could have been interpretted that *I* was anti-Christian instead of my feelings of the Faith board. I don't know what he could-ve used, maybe in this case NOTHING would-ve been better.

I'm sorry that you found yourself in the same position. I did not occur to me until now that I also could e-mail Dr Bob and intend to do so. I am still unhappy with the way the subject line has been ammended.

I would also not be happy to see the subject remain and wait for the board to archive as people do look at the archives.

Thank you for your support.
