And what is that? You do not seem to experience much benefit from anything you take.

Well good luck, because the people on this board will notice a difference on your behalf even if you don't.

No, Ed. What is your point overall? You seem to be passionate about this. What is it that you are trying to defend?

I am not trying to defend anything, I am trying to be realistic.

I suppose being nice just consists of agreeing with everything you believe.

Is it true that generic drugs are not tested clinically?

I believe that any differences are hugely exaggerated. People on this board spend a great deal of time talking about it and causing anxiety. Every negative event which happens on the generic is attributed to being on the generic.

Yes, they are tested for bioavailability, except some generics are actually the same product as the brand, and do not require any testing. For example, Winthrop's alfuzosin is exactly the same product as Sanofi's Xatral.

No. I asked if they are tested CLINICALLY.

Okay. What leads you to this conclusion?

I've read it. For a start, most people on this board, including you, do not have epilepsy. Secondly, what would happen if people were switched from a generic to a brand? Would they get better or worse?

Is bioavailability the same as a clinical effect? No.

There is no observational study of how these generic drugs affect real people.
